  1. Well for anyone else who might come searching for this issue, it appears it is a failure of the air recirculation servo (6Q1907511A) located behind the cabin air filter. I'm going to try and remove/clean/relube the old one first. Easier to search Polo 9N sites for this issue.
  2. This code is relating to a temperature sensor used by the engine management system rather than the dash gauges.
  3. I should add, this car seems to have the "climatic" system as it has actual numbered temperature settings on the heat dial. I had another look today and noticed the switch will turn of for about 1 second then turns itself back on again.
  4. So I have just bought my first Skoda, a Fabia Mk1 and have thoroughly read almost all the recent postings to familiarise myself. I have also owned some VW T4's one of which I did a TDI conversion on and a Polo 6n2 1.4TDI (R.I.P.) and a Golf IV. I do all my own mechanics so I am quite familiar with this vintage of VAG vehicles, however on the drive back from buying the Skoda I noticed something new, the Air Recirc. switch is stuck on (illuminated). I haven't investigated yet if it is actually on but I wondered if this is a problem anyone here has come across before ? Otherwise the car is lovely, 177k kms and feels a lot more solid than the Polo.
