Digital certificate - maintenance?
Ok, so you have all regular oil changes in the digital certificate? I guess they forgot to update it...

Digital certificate - maintenance?
I had first regular maintenance (oil and filters) at 15.000 km and there is no log of it in my digital certificate. The only thing i see is per-delivery inspection and warranty repair i had 2 months ago. Is this supposed to be like that? Should i contact the mehanics? Since there is no physical car maintenance book, i think this should be noted in digital certificate, right? I do have a bill with service they did, but if i sell the car 5 years from now, wont people usually want to see more proof that care was taken care of? Or am i just over complicating things?

Air wents problem?
So i bought new Scala. When i turn the AC on "face vents", the air blows much more stronger from the center console air wents and barely anything blows from side ones. Only when i close the center console air wents or almost close it, the air starts coming from side airwents. It's this design or should i take the car to the mechanic?

Service intervals/maintenance
I just bought new 2024 Škoda Scala. Car suggest car maintenance in 1 year or 15.000km. However, in manual, there is no list of maintenance or what should be replaced at different points, so i wonder if there is any "list" where i can see what to expect and when does something needs to be replaced...

Škoda Scala as a high mileage car
That is true, but i think perhaps it is also because of the bigger trunk capacity, which is a very important thing for taxi's

Škoda Scala as a high mileage car
Is Škoda Scala good car if you plan to use it for many years and you drive a lot (mostly highways)? I understand that usually people buy diesel engine cars like Octavia, if they are planning on using car for long trips. Is Scala a bad choice, if i wish and expect car to last at least 10 years and at least 300-350 thousands kilometers? Im talking about 1.5 tsi engine with 150 hp. Does anyone knows a Scala with high mileage? The car is relatively young, so most of those that are sold as used vehicel dont have much more than 100-200 thousand kilometers on odometer...

Scala - question before buying
Yes, i checked and starting with July 1st its mandatory. I just hope that turning it off/on will remain the same as it is. Its pretty quick to turn off speed limit warning as it is. I just hope they wont change they way how you turn it off/on.

Rain sensors and foldable mirrors (2024 Scala)
Thanks. So you can fold mirrors manually while parking/moving vehicle at slow speeds?

Rain sensors and foldable mirrors (2024 Scala)
Can you turn rain sensor off permanently? Also, mirrors fold automatically when you turn car on/off. Can you also fold mirrors with button, like while driving at slow speeds (while parking etc.)?

Scala - question before buying
Another question - can you permanently turn of speed limit warnings? I know lane assist has to be turned off manualy every time, but can you permanently disable the beeping when you drive over the limit?

Scala - question before buying
Thanks for reply. No, i think the seats are OK, but im not an expert about safety. All i know is that the seat headrest height is important, because in a case of accident your head shoudl be secured. If the seat in the picture i posted is ok, then it's OK with me. I was just a bit worried that the head would hit "the hole" in the seat.

Scala - question before buying
Oh and another question. Can you fit skis of length 175-180cm diagonaly if you fold back seats? Speaking of safety, i know this isnt the best option, but we go skiing perhaps 2-3 times per winter.

Scala - question before buying
Hello guys, so i tested the car with sports seats. It was comfortable for both of us, but does this height looks safe to you? (in a case of accident)

Scala - question before buying
Thanks a lot for this extensive reply. Seems like it really is a good car. As for seats, are they the same design as this? What i am a bit worried is the "hole" in the upper part. It would be uncomfortable and dangerous in case of accident if somebody would be too short for this seat and their head would be in this "hole". But if your seats are simmilar and the seat fits for you wife height, i guess it should be ok...

Scala - question before buying
Well, thats what i'm afraid of.... My height is 180 cm, which is average height so the seat should be fine for me. My wife however is 160 cm, and those sports seats look really high. Especially the head rest part compared to normal seats. I wish i could test the car with those seats, i'm not sure if it's smart buying this edition before testing. Maybe i should go for standard seats. Does any other Škoda model uses exactly the same seat (same dimensions), so maybe i could test drive that one it if the seats are exactly the same?

Scala - question before buying
Another thing. I like sports seats, but i'am a bit afraid as it seems they are not adjustable?

Scala - question before buying
Hello guys. I'm really close to buying Scala. I really loved the test drive, it's a lovely car. I do have few questions before making the final decision. 1.) I do plan on having car for a long time. Are spare parts expensive/cheap? 2.) I tested Scala with a manual transmission, but will be buying 1.5 gasoline 150hp DSG. Is it smooth, does it work/shift well? 3.) I am thinking about buying the version with spoiler and extended glass on the rear hatch door. However, is it more likely to get damaged in case of somebody rear-eding my car? Or does it not make big difference with regular one? 4.) What is fuel consumption at speeds of 160-170kph? I travel a lot through Germany and i love Autobahn without speed limit. Would you guys (and girls) say that the car is fuel efficient (if driven by speed limits outside of germany?) 5.) Would you consider this a good car for someone who drives at least 20-25 thousands kilometers per year? Sure, every car maintence is gonna cost a lot after 200.000km, but do you guys think Scala can make it up to 300.000km, with proper care and regular maintence? 6.) Is there anything you really love/hate about this car?
