  1. Issue, solved Thank you all so much for your valuable input and help. Deeply appreciated. I'll make a rather long story extremely short and say this. Took my vehicle to an auto-electrician's shop earlier this morning, and i'm guessing all it took was removing one (or both) battery cables. Apparently swapping out specific electric parts ( or even plugging unplugging the current ones) can cause such an issue. Also emphasis on the word "guessing" because the repair guy wasn't willing to disclose what he did to fix the issue. If anyone wants to hear the full story i'd be happy to share (although i doubt anyone really cares), but yeah issue solved! / All indicators blink on lock/unlock and all windows roll up/down on keyhold.
  2. I do not live in the UK 😞
  3. Greetings, i own a Skoda Octavia Mk2 - 1.9 TDI 105HP and i have recently had a door and fender replaced (front passenger's side - due to a crash). After the swap (same day) i noticed that when i tried to remotely lock/unlock the vehicle, the indicators wouldn't flash. Same exact behavior with the key in the actual door-lock. (would properly lock/unlock but no flash). It has to pointed out, that the function that rolls all windows down/up on keyhold/keyturn has also stopped working. (And i assume no battery was dc'ed during the repair). I have tried both keys, no avail. All doors still lock and unlock properly, but the indicators do not flash like they are supposed to. The shop responsible for the replace told me that, the parts they swapped inside the door(besides the actual door), were the window motor and the lock, which is true cause both my window and door handle were wobbly/loose - especially the outer handle (even before the crash). They obviously claim the issue is unrelated, and even implied it predated their repair for a quick moment. (Which i did not appreciate at all to be honest) Now question is, any idea what might be causing this issue? What could have gone so wrong during the door assembly? I literally have no idea what part is responsible for "flashing the indicators" when you use central locking, or where it even resides inside the car.
