  1. Hello again, it seems like it was a hose connected to the intake manifold that was lose. I made a quick fix with ducttape and a new clamp. However I got a EOBD/OBD2 reader since I thought it would be good. Anyhow on there in V/A diagnostics under engine there was three faults (1. Idle RPM higher than expected, 2. System too lean at idle, Bank 1, and 3 Bank1, fuel measuring system 2, malfunction) This lead me to a few open ends and a faulty PCV valve was mentioned so I got myself a new one. I haven’t paid attention much but when I got the piece I realized that it seems like pervious owner have made a PCV delete. See picture, it only has 1 hose connections instead of 2. And I realise that the part that goes to the intake manifold is missing, on the intake manifold it’s a tube that’s connected to the back of the engine (it was also this hose that was lose when the engine was stalling). I have a picture of the other end also. My question is where is this hose suppose to go? When I look at PCV replacement videos on YouTube it’s always this extra hose part on the PCC valve that goes to the manifold so I’m very confused of what’s there right now? Also it looks like most PCV delete kits only use a small plug for the intake manifold.
  2. Hello! I’m quite unexperienced with cars as this is my first one. Basically the problem I had this morning is that when I started the car it revs to 2000 then straight down to 500 and dies. The noice was quite uneven. Last night it worked fine. Before this issue with the engine stalling in idle I did notice from time to time the engine had this uneven rev in idle at a stop with maybe 1000-1500 rpm, this was very occasionally and it seem to have disappeared after an oil change 2 weeks ago. Also a few times the engine has stalled when starting from first gear, I thought this might be related to me not being used to the clutch? I tried to Google around and after my shift I changed the sparkplugs and airfilter. This resulted in the engine staying on for a few seconds longer. At the same time I tried to scan for something unusual, or if any hose is loose, didn’t find anything. It is hard to fault trace a leak since the engine stalls if I don’t rev it slightly, any tips? When I rev it up he seems to stay alive and don’t stall, however the revs are still pending abit up and down, I did smell slightly gasoline but it disappeared. I tried reverse and forward maybe 2-3m and it worked but very uneven as it seems it was reving up and down still. There are no warning/red/yellow lights in the dashboard! From my Google research I’ve found out that it could be a problem pcv valve or the throttlehouse? Maybe something with the the fuel injectors or fuel pump? Any questions or ideas are most welcome!
