Just re-joined Briskoda after buying my 2018 Octavia Scout in March this year. Had 3 previous Octavias since 2008, interspersed with a range of other makes / models purely due to me having company vehicles, and found Briskoda big help during years since it started - thanks so much! Had trouble finding my perfect car, and eventually bought nearest. Ended up having Rear View Camera fitted, DSG / Haldex oil changed as part of purchase deal; apparently these oil changes are often neglected. Confusion about when to get Timing Belt changed - 100,000 miles / 5 years? Bit paranoid about this as seen damaged caused to several company vehicle engines when belt snapped well before recommended mileage. Decided to play safe and get mine changed at 66,000 miles because the car is already in year 7. Had old belt returned to me and looks almost new, so maybe I was a bit over cautious.
