Only had a problem the first time I reversed up the slope to the brick wall, turned the ss of and now far easier, I have to get within 200mm of the wall to fit it on the driveway. Don't really want to hit the wall 😱.

Yes , being used to a manual Ie controling the car on the clutch and throttle, I am finding the dsg interesting , early days though 😊 On another note. Can't connect my own or the wife's phone, g7 and g8 , with android auto wirelessly. The blue tooth connection works fine for the phone, but not android auto .

That's all good advice, tried with the stop start, and the airing brake turned off and can control it better on the throttle, I don't want to mess about too long as worried for the clutches. Will investigate the pedestrian assist.

Hi everyone, just received my black Sportline 1.5 dsg yesterday, and to say I am pleased is an understatement. It's my first DSG/auto in 48 years of motoring and very easy to drive, I have to reverse up a short inclined off road parking space up to a wall , so the first attempt was a bit nerve wracking 😕. Going to try it again today with the hill assist and stop start turned off , see if I have a bit more control. Or may even put a rubber parking kerb in for peace of mind . What are people using to adapt the c type usb port . Thanks in advance.

Hi and thanks for having me , I have a Karoq sportline 1.5 dsg on order, and am looking forward to owning my first Skoda. I have run an Ibiza 150 fr (same engine) for 6 years and have enjoyed that very much , hoping the Skoda is as good 👍
