Context; car went in Tuesday had to get towed spanner came up on the gear selection on dash, and car wouldn’t move read a few things on here and online and realised it wasn’t good. This is the message I received please any advice would help. Hi The Mechtronic valve block has failed on your gearbox. It's a specialist repair which I can arrange with a company in Cannock. Price is £1700 + vat and then there will be a cost to deliver it over there. They have availability on Wednesday next week. Let me know what your thoughts are, cheers

sounds cooked, for months when I’ve been turning it off hot and coming back later it does this weird revving thing where it revs up and down past 1k, then just levels its self out now today it’s decided to do this🤣will not turn over IMG_4170.mp4

Hi, Had this noise for months now, my first guess was camshaft, but just wanted some opinions on it, when oil is low obviously sounds a lot worse but sound never goes away no matter the level of oil. Will it get worse, or is it worth taking a look at, I got a few quotes 2-3k just to take engine apart and have a look. Has anyone else had similar issue and what was the damage. IMG_1857.mov Thankyou
