Recently got rid of a skoda octavia vrs diesel but this is temping me back into the fold. It would be a 2nd car but would still have to be used for family ferrying duties. Is it still civilised? By that I mean is the suspension still comfortable? How noisy is it? Do the yellow stuff pads need heat in them to work?

That's great Harry. What's the specs on the wheels/suspension? Mine is a diesel - it's mapped to somewhere around 200bhp but it will never have the go to match the pseudo race car looks I'm considering.

I have a 2007 black magic VRS. It needs some TLC. However, thoughts are turning to upgrades too and since I'm a massive Motorsport fan I'm thinking about making a BTCC inspired VRS. I'm thinking: Lower Team dynamics multi spoke wheels (or similar, probably black) Focus RS vents Splitter MASSIVE spoiler. Now the non moronic Chav side of me thinks that this is a stupid idea and I'll look ridiculous. Convince me either way.

I have a 2007 octavia vrs diesel. I was going to trade it in against something else but can't make the figures work for me so I've decided to spend some cash on giving the vrs. At the minute it has the following problems: Air con not working - apparently it has gas? I've heard this is common? ESP not working - told this is common too. 12v socket not working. Rear n/s door damaged and dented Rear bumper cracked Rear o/s light broken 2x new tyres needed All 4 wheels need a refurb. Quite a list there. Any estimates how much it'll cost to put right?

Have an 07 plate PD170 engined octavia. It hates the cold and simply will not start. Anyone else experienced similar? Will a new battery solve it or is there a (bigger???) problem elsewhere? Cheers.

Thinking of booking a half day here. but I'll be in a Mini Cooper S (new shape, not the cool old British one) but I can't find half days on the list? Are they still available and would you let an interloper in a mini on (I do have a MKII Octavia VRS I can park nearby if that helps)
