Thank you for the response. I now understand that this is not the correct spot probably if I don’t know how to sold them. Figured it out the wrong way today after I made the post. Now no interior light is opening. Probably I burned a fuse of the interior lights. About the cigarette connector, it was suggested to me to do it there, but I couldn’t find a way to disconnect all the pieces so I can place it somewhere there. Might I will need the skills of a professional in the end.

I wanted also mention that the model of the interior light is the 3B0 947 105 c

Hello! I'm sorry if the topic is a little bit off, but I need some guidance from the pros here. I'm new in the world of cars since I recently got my first car. It's a Scoda Octavia 5 2009 model and I wanted to install a GPS tracker connected to the interior light. It has some room to fit it so it's a good spot I think. But since I'm having zero electrical skills or wiring skills, I have zero clue of which is the positive/negative spots, so I can then connect the wires on that. I managed to do it in the battery because it obviously shows the +/- but on this it needs some more skills. I also managed to find a video of how to disconnect the interior light so I have provided also a photo of it. Thanks for any answer you guys might give.
