  1. The timing belt was replaced with the water pump just before it was parked up in 2019 so that should be ok I think. I've fitted four new discs and pads all round as they were really rusty. Aux belt seems ok for now.
  2. Yep one elderly owner from new. Basically never driven. Last time it was on the road was 2019.
  3. I've saved an Octavia MK2 and it's back on the road after being left to rot but I'm not sure what needs to be checked before I start putting big miles on it. It's a 56 plate PD140 4x4 Estate with just 3k on the clock from new. Just wondering if I should change diff oil or anything else for the 4x4 system. The fuel tank has been drained and filled with fresh fuel and I've changed the engine oil and filter. The fuel filter is done too. Clutch slave had failed so it's also had a full clutch kit and DMF to get it back on the road. Brake master was also stuck solid so that's been changed too. It's nice to drive just not sure what to look for with the 4x4 systems on these cars.
