  1. Morning Ootohere. Thank you once again. You've clarified the query for me. I hadn't contacted the links you'd sent me, was going to do that this morning. My worrying is over. Have a great weekend.
  2. Thank you again for your responses. And thank you Ootohere for giving me the details of the Techs. I will get in touch. It's not that I don't believe what you all say, I still need reassurance. I'm a real worrier. I do appreciate the inputs.
  3. Hiya. The car has 19,500 on the clock. I was just given a Quote late last year by the Service Desk when paying for the MOT and service of £471. When I phoned last week someone else quoted me £671 and said that the two have to be replaced. I then visited the Garage and spoke to the chap on the Service Desk and asked him to look into the difference of the cost. He informed me that the cam belt on my car doesn't have the water pump attached. Hope you can understand my concern? What I don't is my engine to be ruined if the water pump should've been replaced as well.
  4. Thank you so much for your response. It was just that I was told by one Garage that the Cam Belt wasn't run with the Water Pump and another said it was. I'm an OAP and the difference in price is £200. Am also female and don't want to be ripped off. Hope what I've written makes sense?
  5. Hello, can you please advise whether I need to have the Water Pump changed when the Cam Belt is installed? Skoda Fabia 5dr Hat 1.o Mpi 75ps SE. Looking forward to hearing from someone. Thank you.
