Thanks for the reply. I've done it before with a previous car (think it was the Mondeo but don't quote me on that) - you need the original and to be inside the car to do it so security risk is reasonably low. I bought from a general dealer, not direct from Skoda - I was aware there was only 1 key so can't reasonably ask them to sort it. Guess I'm gonna have to ask Skoda. Not looking forward to that bill though!

Hi all, I bought a used 71 plate Enyaq IV but it came with only 1 key. Am I able to buy a fob and code it myself from the working one? If so, how? I'm petrified of losing the only key and the ball-ache that would follow as a result! Many thanks.
