Hi all, About me... I'm a recently retired semiconductor electronics test engineer. I do DIY stuff when I have to. Otherwise I sail a 30ft classic boat a lot. I'm the 3rd owner of my Skoda Superb 2.0 TDI SE L Exec DGS Auto Estate which I've had for about 14 months. At c.£17K, it's the most money I've ever spent on a car Very happy with it - until now - 2 months after my Skoda Used Car Warranty expired 😞 . More on that elsewhere perhaps. I intend keeping these wheels for the foreseeable, hense keen to be part of this community and hopefully keep it "superb" without spending a fortune on francised repairs.
