My skoda had starting issues for a while now sometimes not starting on the first key but it started perfectly in the second so i just dissregarded it as the key not registering corectly and the car being 20 years old. This week the issue started being more severe and the car refused to start when the engine was hot. Before i could get it to a mechanic it refused to start at all... it cranks but there is no spark, the throttle valve doesen t moove and the tester i put on it doesen t read the ecu. I think it has fuel pressure as when i disconnected the injector rail fuel line i got sprayed in the face with gas. At some point during roadside diagnosing and trying to make the laptop conect with the ecu it started, the throttle valve opened and the ecu connected with the tester. Now it is back to being dead and unresponsive is the ecu dead or is there some other issue that makes it shut off?
