  1. Brilliant, thanks for going to the effort to explain, this mirrors my experience. I guess the next question to ask is whether retaining drive mode is something that could be programmed in?
  2. Yeah, the drive mode button is illuminated on start-up indicating one is selected but it clearly isn't (if you know what I mean). Not the end of the world, but I'd prefer if it was a bit clearer. There appear to be no issues with drive-modes once reselected. Mines a 67 plate 2017 model so clearly pre-facelift.
  3. Hi all, I've been browsing here since I got my 2017 220tsi back in June. Great resource and lots of very helpful people - thanks! I've noticed since I've had the car that the drive mode I was in on the previous journey remains 'selected' (i.e the drive mode light is on and the mode shown on the car's menu) when I switch the car on again, but isn't actually engaged- i.e eco mode doesn't coast and the gears are shown D1, D2 etc rather than E1, E2 etc. Is this minor annoyance normal and a quirk of the car, or is this something that's gone wrong on mine? TIA
