I do same turn off engine and its fine again until i need power. Its been fine just driving locally but I cant go out on open road. Thank you for your help its a few things I haven't heard of. I thought maybe dpf blocked or a sensor. Hoping to get it sorted Monday as its been 1 thing after another with it. Due mot on 15th to☹️

Hi Thanks for your reply. Not sure what they are but its an option to get checked out. Garage just said turbo was clogged and he checked pipes. I have a mechanic coming on Monday to look at it at home. To scared to drive it.

I have a 1.6 tdi 14 reg fabia estate. The glow plug light is flashing if i accelerate up to 60 and i lose power. Been in garage had turbo cleaned and all boost pipes checked. I had a reader on it with code po299 underboost?? Its still doing it. Any suggestions as to what it might be?

No my rear washer wasn't working. If u pushed the stalk forward nothing happened but when new motor was put on it started to work. Garage had said I might need a new stalk but I didn't Was so glad lol

Yeah. I had got 2. 1 was the wrong part even tho was listed for my cars year and model. Other didn't work at all Saying that I have bought stuff from Ebay and it worked fine. Think I was just unlucky.

I took it to the garage and he got me the genuine motor from skoda costing £200😲 it works fine now. I had got 1s from Ebay and online that didn't work. Sometimes best just getting the part from the actual dealer Hope this helps you

Hi im new here. I bought a 2014 fabia 1.6 estate diesel a few weeks ago and discovered the rear wiper doesn't work. I bought a brand new motor and wiper arm also checked the fuses but still won't work I looked at wires in rubber cover and can't see any broken Can anyone suggest anything else? Think it might be a job for an auto electrician 🙄🙄
