  1. The repair to mine has lasted well, but I did discover this whilst browsing,,, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/285676608111?gad_source=1&mkevt=1&mkcid=1&mkrid=710-53481-19255-0&campid=5338723872&toolid=20006&customid=LFv3CE8iAAAAuxbQBPyE3w3krZdEAAAAAA
  2. Thanks, I'll have a Google of that later this eve. Much appreciated 👌
  3. Hi J.R. it doesn't have one fitted, but it did come with a spare gearbox with an LSD in it. However the casing is cracked on that one, so I'll leave it as is until something happens to the current one then look at getting them swapped about. The only draw back is it will make it slightly harder for Autotesting when manoeuvres are tight. Time will tell. Cheers
  4. I have a Mk1 Fabia 1.4 and following a recent rally, I broke the bolt in the engine mount. I think it is classed as the right-centre mount, but is located on the inner wing under the header tank, see photos. Firstly I have managed to repair it so no advice needed there. What I am looking for is a replacement part for the mount, not the cast bracket. I've tried the usual automotive parts suppliers and they all gave the same reply "we can't get those any more". Does anyone here know of a source for these, if upgraded then even better. Or, will anything else from VW group fit, a Polo, Golf, Passat etc? And lastly, is there a direct link on here to a parts list for identifying part numbers etc? It would probably save a lot of stupid Qs that set your eyes rolling 🙂 thanks very much.

  6. I've recently bought a Fabia Mk1 1.4 for motorsport events. A few Autotests and Trials completed it is now time to rally, which is the purpose of the car. It was already fitted with full roll cage, harnesses, bucket seats etc. and ticked all the boxes for me. First rally complete and needless to say there's a few issues, but all sorted now. Most important of all it was some serious fun, looking forward to a lot more!
