I really would enjoy to find the dimensions of the boots, more precisely than just the volumes as I still wonder : has the superb almost got the same volumes than the octavia Estate thanks to its length or has it got more width too?

Thanks for you answer! Unfortinately for us, Superb Estate are 2k more expensive at least and it is out of our budget... Otherwise I would definitely go for one since it is the best of both world! In France there are not so much offer on these cars on petrol / manual. They are mostly diesel / DSG. But manuals are more reliable than automatics and less expensive to maintain and diesel are not made for short ride like we will do on daily basis (we are living in Paris suburbs and plan to go in the countryside in 2-3 years. We are looking for a car to keep for years without intention to sell it so we don't want a to high mileage.

Hello, For the same price I can buy a 2017 Octavia Combi mk3 with face-lift Business trim or a 2016 Superb mk3 hatchback Ambition trim (French trims). Both are with the 1.4 tsi 150 (act on superb). Both are enough for what I need, the only difference I struggle about for choosing is the boot space and practicability. If I had to choose between Octavia/Superb Hatchback vs Estate, I would go for the Estate for sure but since here the volumes are almost identical between Superb Hatchback and Octavia Estate, I don't know what to choose. I know that the Superb drive smoother with more comfort and silence but I'm coming from a 2002 yaris so it will be a huge step up either way. The main difference is the height at the rear of the boot since the shape is more of a square on the Octavia Estate, but the Superb being bigger, is there much of a difference? Will the Superb carry longer objects compared to Octavia? Will the Octavia Estate carry way bigger and thicker furnitures compared to the Superb? For daily life, is one way more practical than the other? I may adopt 2-3 dogs in 3 years, medium sized like labradors or golden. Some says that the superb Hatch can carry them without problems, some says it won't fit. If I end up having three kids, will the width of the superb and its leg room at rear seats way more practical for the children? If someone have experience with both cars, I'll be more than happy to read them. Thanks
