I had to jumpstart my Octavia a couple of weeks ago as the battery was flat. The usb link to my phone has been intermittently stopping working and sometimes the screen goes blank. This also happened a year ago and I had to pay £115 to get an update from the dealership that solved the problem. I’m wondering if since the jumpstart reset the clock to the correct time it has also lost the update? Also every time I turn the car on it says the manoeuvre parking brake isn’t available. Could this be due to needing a new battery? Only done 38000 miles and 69 plate. Thanks.
