  1. It's here, been using it for the last week......oh gosh do i love it
  2. Has anyone used the magic mouse? I'm seeing mixed reviews on the web
  3. I thought that said ROMANTIC music not RANDOM music lol Sorry i don't have anything to add but that just made me laugh, good luck in the search.
  4. I think that is the first reaction of anyone coming from Windows to Mac lol
  5. Well we had a mac mini in at work and I "borrowed" it for a few weeks, after the initial WTF! I quite liked it
  6. I hope not! It's a lot of money to waste if so lol
  7. Had my Acer for 4 years and i'm only replacing it because it can't run the things i want it to run. Other than that it's been faultless, all the HP's I've come across have been a complete pain in the arse with both reliability and support (drivers ect) Dell make very nice laptops, we've got a few 4+ year old ones that still run nicely. We supply Dell at work and we don't have many back at all (although it's mainly servers and the like so only basing this on a few hundred laptops compared to a few thousand servers!)
  8. That's it, I've took the dive, I've been an avid windows user for well ever since ever since. My current laptop is getting a little tired so i've treated myself. Have a new macbook pro 15" on the way (got to wait a few days for delivery due to choosing the higher res screen) and i've ordered one of these for when it arrives http://www.ebuyer.com/product/222310 This will be used mainly for recording and Photoshopping, I'll still keep my current laptop for other stuff. I have to say they are beautiful pieces of equipment but the prices are a bit mental!
  9. Another vote for the Desire, sorry but it's much better than the iPhone 4. Have a look at this - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-10947784 I have a BB for work and that's flawless so far, it depends on what you want to do with it i suppose!
  10. Don't bother with the Samsung, it might have a better screen than the desire but the interface is not nice in comparison. You'll spend more time using the interface than you will staring at how bright the screen is and in all honesty you will not notice the difference. Get the HTC Desire, you won't regret it.
  11. It's available for Android as well, been using it for a while without any problems so far
  12. Congratulations mate keep it up, you're past the worst of it now. It'll get easier from now on (y)
  13. Wicked news mate I'm glad it's going well, i found the routine was one of the hardest things for me. At work we had set times that everyone would go outside for a fag, so during that time i had to do something else to take my mind off it. I'm glad you've stuck to it any ways, if there is anything worse than a smoker..........it's an ex smoker
  14. TBH i never got angry or frustrated really either, i think it's a myth as smoking actually increases your blood pressure! I also made sure i was always busy for the first 2 weeks to keep my mind of it (it worked) I also kept looking at this thing - What Happens to Your Body If You Stop Smoking Right Now? n 20 minutes your blood pressure will drop back down to normal. In 8 hours the carbon monoxide (a toxic gas) levels in your blood stream will drop by half, and oxygen levels will return to normal. In 48 hours your chance of having a heart attack will have decreased. All nicotine will have left your body. Your sense of taste and smell will return to a normal level. In 72 hours your bronchial tubes will relax, and your energy levels will increase. In 2 weeks your circulation will increase, and it will continue to improve for the next 10 weeks. In 3 to 9 months coughing, wheezing, and breathing problems will dissipate as your lung capacity improves by 10%. In 1 year your risk of having a heart attack will have dropped by half. In 5 years your risk of having a stroke returns to that of a non-smoker. In 10 years your risk of lung cancer will have returned to that of a non-smoker. In 15 years your risk of heart attack will have returned to that of a non-smoker. Since stopping smoking i've saved myself £200 - £230 a month, so i bought myself a new car (MK4 Ibiza Cupra) and i'm still quids in lol. I will admit, my mate bought some cigars the other week and we all had one to celebrate his misses being pregnant. I enjoyed it but afterwards i could smell it on my own breath and clothes and it really did stick! I still get the urge every now and again but each time i smell a cigarette now they smell totally different to before (really really bad!) and i've put on weight. I'm now 1stone heavier but it took a while (i think it was because my appetite increased rather a lot) Keep up the good work
