Hi guys, been trying to buy some ignition coils after my mechanic only swapped one out of the three needed when the other two look beat down after taking them out and having a look myself.
My mechanic originally installed one Delphi ignition coil so I decided to copy and go buy them from Europarts. When unboxing them, I noticed they have a different rubber seal at the top and when installed, don't stay secure and slide back out. Is there a way to change this rubber seal? Would it be better to return them and try from Halfords/GSF Car parts?
The image of the ignition coils on the Europarts page show a different rubber seal to what has ben bought which is a bit misleading.
I have attached an image, starting from the left side are the two Delphi ignition coils that I bought, the closest one to the right hand side of the image is ignition coil with the correct rubber seal at the top. I am new to car maintenance just so you are aware. The car is a Skoda Fabia 1.2 HTP 2008 Mk.2
