Car won’t unlock using key fobs, only locks/safe
Hello! I have this problem with a skoda octavia 2 non facelift. It no longer unlocks from the key fobs. I have two keys both with remotes, both with changed batteries, I tried to resync both, no result. When I lock the car, all the doors go into safe mode, and if I press the unlock button, absolutely nothing happens. When I press unlock and turn on the ignition, the doors go from safe mode to locked, but they don't unlock. The only way to unlock the car is with the key in the door, physically. I can hear some clicks when i press the unlock button, but nothing happens. Do you have any advice or has anyone experienced something similar? I attached the video below to better understand the situation. https://jumpshare.com/s/JRS4jrlwWu4bUnTj1XeY

Central Lock Issue - Unlocking the car but not locking in using the fob
Hello guys, I ve noticed that for some reason, my 05 Octy pre-fl won’t unlock using the button on the remote. Now, i have a few a info to share that might help you 1. i’m not sure if the central lock is oem or it was installed by the prev owner as i have a blue led right next to my ESP button that s flashing when the car is locked, although i have the original skoda key with the remote, not an aftermarket one for the central locking 2. as i said, i have that blue led that s flashing when the car is locked. if i lock the car using the remote, that led starts to flash, but when i unlock the car using the remote, the blue light stops flashing, as it should, but the doors are still locked and when i press on the lock button again, the led will start flashing and the sidelights will flash just as normal, thing which is not doing on the unlock part. 3. when i m inside the car and try to lock/unlock the car from the remote, it locks just fine, but when i press the unlock button, i can hear like a click click noise, led light stops flashing and the doors are still locked unless i turn on the ignition 4. i do have a fault code on address 42, door elect. driver: 00928 - Locking Module for Central Locking; Front Driver Side (F220) 008 - Implausible Signal - Intermittent i already tried to turn the key to position 1 in the ignition and press the unlock button, which worked, the remote worked for like a day after that and then went back to not unlocking the car and the ignition thing does not work anymore i have also tried a new key fob battery, still the same issue any help/advices are more than welcome as i don t know what to do anymore i will also attach a full scan of the car from vcds Wednesday,22,January,2025,18:14:18:00009 VCDS -- Windows Based VAG/VAS Emulator Running on Windows 10 x64 VCDS Version: 24.7.0.0 Data version: 20240715 DS356.3 www.Ross-Tech.com License Plate: Chassis Type: 1Z (1K0) Scan: 01 03 08 09 15 16 17 19 25 42 44 46 52 56 Mileage: 252370km-156815miles 00-Steering Angle Sensor -- Status: OK 0000 01-Engine -- Status: Malfunction 0010 03-ABS Brakes -- Status: OK 0000 08-Auto HVAC -- Status: OK 0000 09-Cent. Central lock issue
3. when i m inside the car and try to lock/unlock the car from the remote, it locks just fine, but when i press the unlock button, i can hear like a click click noise, led light stops flashing and the doors are still locked unless i turn on the ignition i already tried to turn the key to position 1 in the ignition and press the unlock button, which worked, the remote worked for like a day after that and then went back to not unlocking the car and the ignition thing does not work anymore i have also tried a new battery, still the same issue any help/advices are more than welcome as i don t know what to do anymore

Leaving Home doesn’t work no matter what
awesome, glad that is working, have u had any luck with leaving home as well?
-
Leaving Home doesn’t work no matter what
yeah, it is CH because if u don t have it active and let the switch on it will beep when you open your door and the sidelights will stay on until u manually turn the switch off while with CH active, it doesn t beep when u open the door and the lights automatically turn off after a minute, including the one s inside the car

Leaving Home doesn’t work no matter what
i don t have maxidot on mine, so, what i learned during this process and going through multiple scenarios, auto/regular headlight switch, with/without aftermarket sensor is: with the switch on auto, when the sensor is covered or is dark outside, coming home and leaving home (needs to be activated in long coding) will turn on just the sidelights/turn signals 1. ch when you turn off the engine 2. lh when you press the unlock button twice on the remote now, without auto switch you need to leave the switch ON and lh and ch activated in vcds as well and that way: 1. ch when you turn off the engine will turn on the low beam and sidelights 2. lh does not work at all without auto, at least on my end. now i m having a problem with the way it works, i got them both to work but on sidelights and i want them on low beam, i m still trying to change that you can give it a try on yours, it should work even without the auto switch, just turn on the ch in vcds and leave the switch on, make sure the coming home mode option in long coding is OFF

Leaving Home doesn’t work no matter what
UPDATE: I got the Leaving Home to work by pressing the unlock button on the key twice, but coming home is on low beam and leaving home is on drl, any way i can change lh to low beam as well?

Leaving Home doesn’t work no matter what
I thought about that too, it actually works, it is a bit delayed to be honest, although i have no idea how an oem sensor works, but with this one, if i cover it with my hand and i keep the light switch on auto, after a few seconds the lights are turning on and when i take the hand off of it, the lights are going off. also, no idea if it means something, right after i installed it and turned on the lights i heard a few beeps somewhere close to the light switch

Leaving Home doesn’t work no matter what
Hello! I own a Skoda Octavia mk2 pre-facelift which does not have a light/rain sensor. I have been trying to activate Leaving Home/Coming Home for some time. I bought a sensor (I attach the picture) + 2 different headlight switches, both with the AUTO function. I already had all 10 wires going to BCM. I cannot activate Leaving Home no matter what i try, Coming Home works although the adaptations do not seem to work, no matter the time i set in VCDS, the headlights turn off after approx. 1 minute. I tried with the headlights on AUTO, low beam, off, nothing. I want to mention that other functions such as the second fog lamp, us style and other codings worked without any problem. Any ideas/advices are welcome! Thanks
