  1. I hadn't thought of that. The door isn't exactly hanging off so that might have worked. I ended up buying new hinges for that door. I've no idea how to go about fitting but I suspect it's a door off job then fighting to get the door aligned again!
  2. Hi All, I've just bought my first Skoda - A Fabia II 1.2 4Cyl TSI (2011); this will be my son's first car so I'm keen to get it nice for him before he passes his test... I'm sure this is the first of several questions but this one I'm really struggling to find info on - The drivers door hinges seem to be worn so that the door drops a little when opened, it will rock on the hinges if you lift it. It'll then clunk back into place when closed. Is this a common scenario? Do I just need to buy a set of hinges and swap them over? Is this a driveway job or does it need half the car taking to bits Thanks in advance...
