Hi all, Recently running into a problem with my Superb III green line estate (1.6tdi, 6 speed manual) where it won't stay in reverse gear - all forward gears work fine with no issues or sloppiness but I have to keep my hand pushing the stick up and left to keep the gears meshed for reverse - or it jumps out and I get grinding/no engagement. Looking at some other posts elsewhere (assuming the gearbox is the same across various VAG group cars) people mention the linkage cables/some adjustment plate as a possible cause - How easy is this to adjust/fix at home with basic tools/mechanical knowledge - or am I best just booking it in a garage asap?
