  1. Can you 'pump' the pedal, and regain a solid pedal temporarily? Likely a tiny air leak, hard to find - bet it's on the front caliper somewhere.. Look for a tiny wet bit.
  2. Fronts should be able to be adjusted to remedy - use above suggestions to help. Rears however, are a different story.. My old Fabia used to wear the inside edges of the rear end, tried allsorts to fix. Removing RARB helped, but reduced rather than fixed. Never go to the bottom of it. Randomly, a few months after selling I found a suggestion on a-n-other forum referencing the polo, saying rear shock absorbers could be 'lazy', so not failed, but just a bit crap, leading to the weird wear. Worth an investigate perhaps?
  3. http://imgur.com/a/CfSUs#fRz0zko Vanstyle ones fitted.
  4. Traded in my '07 Fabia Vrs against a Cupra in August, the dealers were in Worcester. Been keeping an eye open to see what happens to it, but so far, it seems to have vanished. Looked regularly on ebay/autotrader & the https://www.gov.uk/check-vehicle-tax site. It was MOT'd early in Sept (originally due March), but since then, no sign. Here he is: http://imgur.com/a/CfSUs Anyone seen it / got any ideas? Would love to know where it's gone...
  5. Shame yours is a 54 plate: ME55Y BJ £999, available now
  6. Sold my Fab and bought a Cupra 280. No regrets
  7. My parents used to have a VW Camper in Mint Green & white which had no handles on the outside at all. Used solenoids & hidden magnetic switches to operate the doors. But there was a secret way in, so if battery died, you could unlock it. Delocking without a failsafe is a really stupid idea.
  8. Had a Dragon Digital tuning box on mine for over a year. Eventually sold it and got a Shark Remap. (via their SDS box). No comparison. The box was ok, you did get more oomph, but nothing like the smoothness and driveability of a proper remap.
  9. The pedal 'creep' when maintaining pressure is normal, IIRC something to do with the servo. Also, apparantly not good for the braking system either to keep doing it. Mine had weird brake isues too, in that it needed bleeding more often than I would have liked, found minor issues, but never really got to the bottom of it. Now got a cupra with AMAZING brakes!
  10. 7 litres!?!? HAHAHAHAHHAAA more like 2. Was my biggest pet peeve about the Fabia.. Apaprently those with headlight washers held more.
  11. Looked at the Fiesta ST as a replacment for my Fabia. Unfortunately, my foot did not fit between the centre console & the clutch pedal, and it was just a little too small for my 6'4" frame. Tried a lot of other motors in trying to find the replacement, but settled for a Cupra 280, which is absolutely bonkers.
