  1. Thanks. Alright, that's one confounding issue down. Now just to find a new one. Which seems near impossible as basically nobody sells it and VAG did not bother giving a proper OE number to it, so all of them just lead to ones without a connector.
  2. EDIT: Pretty sure I clicked on Skoda Octavia mk1 section of the forums but brain derped 🙃. Move the thread. Sorry. I've been looking trough the engine information, engine explosion diagrams etc from Elsa and wiring diagrams and I just cannot figure it out. What's the connector for on the air hose (pipe between air filter/MAF and that thing that flaps up and down when you press the accelerator)? I literally cannot find a airhose with the connector on my typical go to part websites, everything that is sold is sold without that connector. Every OE number leads to hoses without the connector. But they can also occasionally lead to some chinese crap on ebay or amazon or shady russian websites that does have the connector, but I don't want to buy some low tier hose from some random company. There's also smoke coming from where the blue line on the picture is which is why I'm considering a new airhose as I was doing the cigarette trick. I blew in around 2 cigarettes of smoke so quite alot to help find vacuum leaks. Cigarette smoke was blown in from the air filter end of the airhose (took it off the MAF sensor). Can this be a vacuum leak of some sort? Car accelerates poorly and I get intermittent P0130 faults despite a brand spanking new Lambda Sensor (Bank 1 sensor 1) that has been in use for about a year now (NGK). The fault appears 1-2 times per month. There was also a puff of cigarette smoke coming from the oil dipstick which I caught by accident as I always check the oil level at the end of a cold engine test/inspection, oil level is roughly half of the dipstick measurement. Oil measurement and the cigarette trick done with engine cold. The car had been turned off for 4-5 hours before I tested and was as cold as the ambient temperature. Car has lived exclusively in Sweden and was registered there. Things I've done to the car (relevant to the engine) since I took ownership: 26 June 2023: New MAF. 17 September 2023: New Lambdasensor installed Bank 1 Sensor 1 (precat) NGK brand. 11 February 2024: Termostat (thing that opens and closes depending on coolant heat) and the nearby coolant temprature sensor (Hella branded) on the same temprature housing has been replaced with new ones. 7 May 2024: Air filter change. 28 June 2024: Engine oil and oilfilter change: 4,4 liters of engine oil with specification VW 502.00 (5W-40) What's haunting my car? Thanks.
