  1. Cheers for that. Actually the repair is $6500. Will push skoda under the act here in NZ. Seems a well known fault so the product is not fit for purpose and has failed the durability expectation.
  2. just to add to this, my 2018 Kodiaq mechatronics has failed at 30000kms. NZ$5K (includes labour) to fix. Curious if anyone knows if anyone has successfully had Skoda replace it after warranty expired. NZ's consumer guarantee act comes in to play (Aussies Lemon Law) but not really up to getting a lawyer involved. Thinking about how to use the act to persuade Skoda to fix it.
