  1. Hi Folks I recently bought a second hand Skoda Octavia Scout - 2.0 TDI CR (184bhp) Scout 4x4 5d DSG 2016/66 which has 150k on the clock. I've bought it fully expecting to need to do some work/servicing on it and have a replacement boost pressure sensor coming due to the flashing coil warning light coming on when I accelerate hard/higher revs. At least that's my first port of call before looking further. However I have what I think is an unrelated issue which has the following symptoms: Sounds a bit like a steam train when driving - I've not noticed the noise when stationary Coming from the left hand side of the car Lessens when accelerating It's persistent and doesn't go away when the car is warm It doesn't seem linked to the revs, but does increase in frequency with speed, but doesn't seem directly linked to wheel rotation (i.e. the frequency seems different to wheel rotation) I've added a video snippet which tried to capture it. Any thoughts?
