Infotainment system
Someone on here recommended holding the on/off button in for about 30 seconds. It seems to have done the trick and very rarely happens now. Funnily enough it only happens now when I’m coming out of a Sainsbury’s carpark so I’m trying to shop elsewhere!!

Six months in
I too have the same car but a 73 plate. I love it, but do turn off the lane assist every time I get in the car as it bugs the hell out of me but leave everything else on. The winter pack is an absolute tick from me, it’s superb when I’ve had to use it. Nothing has gone wrong, it’s never let me down, comfy and very easy to drive but took a few months for me to get used to the sharp braking system! Infotainment system does go off completely now and again but comes back on after 5 seconds or so, but Ive now realised its every time I go into a Sainsbury shop for some reason. Used to do it a lot but someone on here said to try holding the on/off button for about 30 seconds the next time it goes off which I did and as I said, it’s maybe once every few months now. It’s 2 years old next month (Nov) and Ive not even done 9,000 miles yet but going in for its first service this week on a service plan so not quite sure what to expect tbh!

Infotainment screen blank
I had the same problem. It would turn itself off whilst driving or sometimes when reversing. Would make a loud noise too and screen goes back to a date many years ago! Someone suggested pressing the on/off button for 20 seconds which I did and it has cured it. Not done it since so saved me a trip to the Skoda garage.!

Infotainment system
Thank you, I’m not going to touch it myself! I can see it’s a problem throughout so I think I’ll pop into the Skoda dealership and ask them etc. Only problem is the 2 nearest to me don’t have very good reviews! I can live with it, doesn’t happen all the time but as it’s under warranty I’ll check with them anyway. Many thanks.

Infotainment system
Thankyou, I’ll give that a try but reading through posts last night it looks like it’s a common thing!

Infotainment system
Hi everyone, newbie here and wondering if anyone could help. I have a 2023 Monte Carlo 1.5 TSI which I purchased from new (my first ever new car 🤗). I absolutely love it but every now and again the infotainment system screen just turns off, goes blank and then shows the date as 1970! If I turn car the off and on again it goes back to normal or if I cannot stop and just carry on driving again, it switches itself back on again as normal. It sometimes does it when I put car into reverse as if the camera isn’t connecting. The first time it happened I was shocked as it makes quite a loud noise when turning off. I’ve only just done 3,500 miles and everything else is fine, no problems at all. Has anyone else had similar problems? Thanks in advance and any info I’d be grateful for.
