Hi there, Have a lovely 2007 VRS that's been wonderful until I was driving home after Christmas and had a downshift that gave me a whistle noise, then no power. Made it home and got it to a garage (Halfords - I know, I know) and they found it was intercooler pipes (have now bought some uprated pipes) but upon starting it, got the most ungodly rattle at idle. Opened bonnet and listened as best we could, removed and intake pipe and it sounded like at a guess it was inside the turbo... 😭 Sounds loudest towards the drivers side wheel and down the back of the engine.... Any advice? Pic was error code before peplacing the pipes
