  1. Thanks all for your replies and support. I managed to drain the old fuel by disconnecting the fuel line to the high pressure fuel pump, then gave power to the fuel pump until the tank was empty. Disposed of the old fuel appropriately. The car still wouldn't start after putting in fresh fuel and drying the spark plugs, so I decided to just change the fouled spark plugs with new ones. Car is back to normal and runs great
  2. Hi all, I have a family friend who owns a 2023 Kamiq with the 1.0 TSI engine. They accidentally filled up with diesel then when they realised, they filled up with petrol to dilute it. The car continued to run but with misfires that day then wouldn't start the following morning. I checked the spark plugs, they're wet with fuel which would explain no-start. I want to start by draining the fuel system and put fresh petrol in there. I tried searching for resources online to answer the following questions but there doesn't seem to be much out there. So if anyone has any knowledge on the below, it would be greatly appreciated! - Can I syphon the fuel directly from the fuel filler cap or is there an anti-syphon valve on these cars? - If the above is not possible, I considered disconnect the fuel line going into high pressure fuel pump then jumping the fuel pump relay. I was able to find fuse diagrams for this car but no relay diagrams. Which relay controls the tank fuel pump? - If the above two are not possible, I guess I must access the fuel tank directly. For the life of me, I wasn't able to lift up the rear seats enough or remove them. Is there a trick to this?
