Hi to all,
I have a 2020 Skoda Scala 1.6TDI 120kkm. All stock.
Seems that is something not right with power steering, because when I drive in circle in parking lot, not in fully locking mode, I hear the noise - very similar to the noise when in hydraulic power steering you have a worn pomp, or there is no enough fluid in the reservuar. The noise appears when I turning left and right. I noticed also that noise disappear when I take the foot off the gas pedal and appears when I put the foot on gas pedal to maintain the speed or to accelerate.
I read the topics about similar behavior, but it was about Octavia and it appears mostly when turning left - then the fault was the gearbox mount.
I have an appointment in Wednesday at the dealer. But before I wanted to know if it is normal or not.
I also have a noisy fuel pump in tank, which I also wanted to diagnose. I read the topics about file pump in 1.6tdi and the opinions vary. Some people said it is normal, other not normal, and another people changed fuel pump, and after 3 months it becames noisy...
Maybe someone experienced some of those behaviours.
Thanks for advices.
