Hello! Apologies, I know this issue was discussed earlier at length, but I could not find anything definitive regarding it's treatment. I looked under the car the other day, and noticed, that the sealant on the front jacking points are peeling off. Apart from the sealant being busted, the sheet metal coating also seems to be damaged at a few small spots. Based on the information I could find, I came up with the following treatment idea until I can take it to a professional: - Remove the hanging underseal flakes & clean the area with isopropyl alcohol - Treat the exposed metal with rust converter - no visible rust yet, but better safe than sorry - Coat the exposed bare metal spots with zinc spray - Cover the damage with underbody sealant Will this do the trick for the time being?
