Did you buy a new or used part? - New Was it genuine or aftermarket? - aftermarket Was the part number compared to the old one? - I don't remember. Have the fault codes been cleared? - No Has the live data been checked? - I don't understand

I replaced a rear door lock on my 2018 Superb L&K, and now the electronic child lock is permanently engaged. An error is displayed on the dashboard if I press the button to disengage the child lock. Does the car need to be re-programmed to accept the new lock, or did I buy a lock without the electronic lock facility?
