Key Fob Entry Issue
I did, yes. I found a thread on the forum which suggested this was a relatively known problem whereby a failed relay meant that the cooling fan kicked in after the engine was turned off and continued to run until it killed the battery. I replaced the relay for next to nothing and it's thankfully not happened again so can only assume that was indeed the issue 👍

Faulty electric drivers seat
Hi all, hoping to be pointed in the right direction. Have searched the forums but cant find any threads with the same issue I am having. I have a 2018 Superb Sportline Plus which has the electrically adjustable drivers seat with memory function. My wife went into the car today and tried to adjust the seat (using the buttons rather than memory as it has never been set up for her) and found that the rear seat base adjustment would not work to raise the seat. All other functions seem to work fine - moving entire seat back/forward, tilting backrest both ways, lowering/raising front of seat base, lowering the rear of the seat base. You can obviously hear the electric click of the relay when you use all of the different functions but not when trying to raise the rear of the base. I have fiddled about with the various controls and I did manage to get it to move so it doesn't appear like it is completely dead but it soon stopped again. Is anyone able to give any advice whatsoever on where to start with this issue? I am unsure whether this is likely to be an issue with a motor (presuming there are multiple for each movement?), a relay/fuse or perhaps even the buttons themselves? I have had a look under the seat and don't see any obvious disconnections etc but in all honesty, there is some amount of wiring etc under there and I don't know where to start! Any pointers would be appreciated - very reluctant to blindly go into an auto electrician/dealer without a clue. Unsure if there is any reset options available as a first port of call Hopefully I have explained what the issue is but if not, please let me know and I'll do my best to reword things in the hope someone can help! Thanks.

Key Fob Entry Issue
I'm afraid I am none the wiser! Car was totally dead the following morning so something had completely drained the battery but unsure what. I did hear the cooling fan going a fair while after the car was turned off but we had just done a long journey so presumed it was just doing it's job or a DPF regen but I see some threads on this forum which suggest an issue with a relay can cause the fan to run until it kills the battery so something I will need to keep an eye on over the coming weeks. Bought a jump starter kit in the meantime!

Key Fob Entry Issue
Hi folks, Looking for some guidance as pretty stumped. I have a 2018 Superb. Tonight, the alarm sounded. It is incredibly windy outside and I currently have a roofbox and bike on the car so assume the movement has possibly set the alarm off. I went out to the car to check and silence the alarm and found that when I press the unlock button on the fob, the indicator lights flash twice but the car won't unlock. The mirrors also aren't folding out, just flashing. The lock button on the fob is having no effect with no flash. The little red light on the fob is still flashing when I press a button so I am assuming that's not totally flat. I will attempt to get into the car and get it started using the emergency key blade in the fob tomorrow morning but I just wondered if anyone had experienced this before? I can't seem to see anything in the manual which explains this. The fact that the car is clearly registering the fob button press (given the flashing indicators) but yet isn't unlocking seems a strange one. Any pointers appreciated and praying I can get in and get it started in the morning as currently away on holiday in the middle of nowhere!! Thanks 👍
