Good evening folks, greetings from Croatia.
I purchased a used Superb in April, 114.000km and so far it has been a great car. I work at a automotive logistics center so I have access to good mechanics and discounts on certain car parts which enables me to do proper service on my Superb, since I change the oil every 10.000km.
Unfortunately, a problem with the sunroof appeared but a quirky one and I don't really thing the sunroof mechanism is the issue, but if affects the sunroof.
When I use the console where the sunroof buttons are, or when I press the interior lighting buttons, instead of a fade "click" for the past 2-3 weeks I've been hearing a much deeper click that unfortunately resonates alongside the sunroof. Today I did a lot of testing and the "clicking" noise appears to come from the rear passenger doors. I don't even have to press a button or use the sunroof lever to move it, event tapping the overhead console can active the unusual clicking noise, as if something is dislodged in the console.
That noise appears 90% of the time, with the shade open or closed or with the sunroof open or closed, it does not make a difference.
I have to say that the sunroof does not leak whatsoever, the mechanism works without a flaw and it was properly maintained since purchased new, in 2019. Do you have any idea what could be the issue with that noise?
Attached is a YT video that i hope shows the situation and in which you can hear the specific clicking noise

If you have any idea what the cause of the noise might be or perhaps even a solution I would greatly appreciate the help.
Ivan.
