  1. Yes spoke to Škoda they took my details and said they would get in touch with the dealer but nothing has happened. They have said they won’t give me a hire car as I use my car as a taxi I’ve told them I can’t use a hire car as a taxi and just need a car to get about but fell on deaf ears. I’ve been going through the posts not sure if there’s anything exactly like mine I have read stuff about the 12v battery causing problems but if you could point me in the right direction that would be helpful if there’s anything you have noticed I would appreciate it.
  2. Hope someone can help my Octavia IV suddenly stopped driving last week. I got the fault battery drive error, 4000rpm error and do not drive take to dealer. The AA came out and said it was a battery problem but he couldn’t diagnose so towed it to my nearest dealer. The dealer who have been terrible and said they won’t look at it for 4 weeks I’ve asked for a diagnostic report to be done so I could at least phone around and see if any other garages could fix as I’m a taxi driver so need my car but they don’t care and say I have to wait. I’ve searched and can’t find anyone who has had the same problem a few people who have had drive error problems have said it’s been a sensor but that’s on the enyacq. Any ideas of the problem I would be grateful. I stupidly thought if the battery didn’t work the petrol engine would still function but that’s not the case if the battery dies so does the car!!!!
