  1. Thanks for the reply. I must admit I probably don’t drive it as hard as I should but, my work journey is 25 miles each way ( to the new forest😁) where I sometimes leave it in a low gear on the faster roads. Yesterday I had the crank sensor changed again, this time at a Skoda main dealer and so far 🤞🏽it’s been ok. I think your suggestion of using OEM parts might have cured it🙂
  2. Hi I’ve got a 2017 Skoda OCTAVIA diesel VRS, That is intermittently hesitating when driven from being restarted from fully warm. I’ve had it obd’d by a local garage, and the fault code ‘suggested’ that it was a crank sensor fault. This was replaced but the problem remained. Is this a common fault on this engine? I had a 20L diesel ambiante about 10 years ago that had the same problem, and despite changing various parts the fault was never repaired and I had to get rid of the car. As the car has only done 60k I’d rather not have to get rid of it. Any ideas appreciated!
