  1. I'd like to think I wouldn't deceive the customers as VW did, and admit their is actually a problem with the dpf filters amongst other things. Mine has been faulted since I bought the car and have had no help from Skoda at all. It was produced months after the models that were replaced as an act of 'good will'. Yet I have had a catalogue of faults all exactly the same as the models that were acknowledged. I even had the Skoda dealer act surprised at various problems whe it was actually in national news.
  2. Some forum comments are saying that even unopened adblue can crystallise if left at wrong temperature. It seems an absolute disgrace the way they have just bodged so many things to get round the failing emissions. Let's feed the dirt back in again, then use an additive! Add some adblue, but use an adblue additive to stop crystallisation! And we have to pay for it.
  3. Thanks for reply. I'm wary of peeling off too much and too vigorous. What dissolves it best for the intricate parts? Just warm water?
  4. ⁸Hello. I've had lots of problems with crystallisation around the adblu sensor switch. Paid £400 to have this 'fixed' and replaced. It is now worse than ever. See pix attached. Any ideas? The garage said it could be the hose but surely the crystallisation would not happen at the top. I don't want to pay for trial and error diagnosis. Could too much dpf additives cause this? Thanks in advance
