Just having the system on the car doesn't mean that I only follow what the car says. I agree, that'd be a really stupid thing to do. I'm merely seeking to see if I can provide digital evidence of what my own eyeballs have already told me about the alleged incident.

Hey folks, first time posting, and I've got a bit of a technical question. Does anyone know if the the MkIV Octavia's store the history the traffic sign recognition system at all? I'm hoping to build a preponderance of evidence that my car did not pass through a speeding sign on the motorway. I'm reasonably sure that it could be figured out why I'd like such information...
