  1. Hi, I had to get an auto electrician. The fault was the with the driver door central locking. The electrician was able to disconnect the driver door from the central locking so now I have to manually lock the door with the key but at least the lights work. This was the easiest solution and as the car is 15 years old I didn't want to pay to have the door stripped down to find the fault with the lock. It was a strange fault and took him about an hour to find the fault, I would never have found it. Hope this helps
  2. Thanks Simon, that's good of you. My multimeter didn't turn up, hopefully will tomorrow so I can test it.
  3. Thanks that's helpful. I will give it a go when the meter turns up. I'm really hoping it's the switch that's faulty as it sounds a lot cheaper than an issue with the BCM 🤞
  4. Thanks for this information. I have ordered a multimeter which should arrive later. Will have a go at identifying what's going on then.
  5. Thanks, when you say switching that supply do you mean changing the pins in the connector?
  6. I have removed the light switch itself and inspected the connection visually, everything looks clean and no signs of any corrosion or moisture etc. does anyone know how I can test the switch itself?
  7. Thanks I will see if I can get an auto electrician to take a look. Appreciate your help
  8. Thanks will give this a try. At least I know it's definitely not bulbs now. Do you think it could be the "Body control module" a garage I called have said over phone without seeing car this is likely the problem? They have told me the dealer will be the only people who can sort it?
  9. Thanks I have just tried this, no luck. Wondering how hard it is to remove switch?
  10. Sorry correction the parking lights do work the number plate doesn't
  11. No the number plate light isn't working, neither is the parking light function. Also the audible buzzer doesn't work when you leave the lights on and open drivers door?
  12. Sorry above pic missed out side lights here it is
  13. Sorry didn't see your update. It's listed in handbook.
  14. Cheers. They stopped working overnight last week.
  15. Hi, Thanks for the reply, Fuse 23 is listed as interior lights and side lights. When I looked I don't have a fuse 17 which is for DRL:s My model doesn't have drl's the side lights have to be manually switched on?...
