  1. Oh no, the usual car fun of scraped knuckles and swearing then..! Penetrating spray on plastic? Might that reduce the need for profanity? Thanks.
  2. Good to know. Thanks.
  3. Good idea. Is it just a simple unscrew of the green plastic cap/bolt thing and inspect? The video I saw wasn’t very clear. Cheers.
  4. Oh, hadn’t thought of that. I have a new battery to put in as the old battery isn’t holding charge. I have been putting off doing it as I know the PAS is under the battery box and being lazy not wanting to keep taking it in and out. So, I should just put the new battery on this weekend and fingers crossed the annoying frequencies should go. Thanks. I’ve just cleared my earwax, so I can hear these sounds more clearly. Which is nice.
  5. Hi. My ‘58 mk2 makes power steering noises at low revs. It was sat with low miles in the last five years (30k now). Should I change the fluid and add one of those ‘rejuvenate the seals’ products? This is the first vehicle I have owned with the electric type PAS, so I am not sure if this trick will work! Or do I just turn up the radio at low revs? Are there any useful videos showing how to get to the PAS unit to inspect it. Thanks for your time.
  6. Hi. Have recently inherited a Fabia. Looking forward to ironing a few wrinkles with the advice from the community.
