  2. To my knowledge the engine hasn't overheated although i have noticed the fan kick in occasionally when i have parked up. Excuse my ignorance but what does EV stand for please ? I'm not sure if there is an auxiliary pump..

  4. Hi folks, i'm new to the forum and live in France. I own a 2018 Kodiaq, 2.0 litre tdi engine. Recently i've noticed that its been using more coolant (the warning light has appeared twice). I've topped it up and carried on while awaiting an appointment with a local garage. The garage looked at it this morning and said that they couldn't find any signs of a leak. What was strange this weekend was when i stopped the car, i opened the bonnet to check the level in the expansion tank, and as i did this i heard a slight noise and then suddenly the car released approx half a litre of coolant onto the floor. This happened without the engine running and i couldn't see where it came from but was in the general area of the expansion tank and water pump. The garage have suggested in the first instance to change the expansion tank, but i suspect that the problem maybe more serious. Does anybody have any experience of similar symptoms please ? Thanks, John
