Well I've checked nothing propping it up buckle is well clear of the Base. It just hovers at that angle in the first pic till you put weight on it then pops back to that with the weight off. Could it be something in the mechanism?

Ah ok I'd seen a couple videos there the 60 seat flips down when you pull the boot release and just lays flat. Is it the vrs seat shaping that stops this?

Here's a question for the collective group. Octavia VRS mk3 when I fold the rear seats the 40 split flips down and lays flat on the seat base and the 60 split tilts forwards but won't lie flat it will push down flat but not sit flat without weight on it pictures attached. Any ideas why or how to fix
