Hey, no I didn't yet. I it is being built this week according to the app. The dealer said it should be in March all going well, but no exact date yet sorry. If I get an update I will let you know 🙂

Ah yes, I see what you mean. You can understand why the system would pick that up inadvertently alright. Ya I will stick with the Android Auto, have the S23 Ultra myself and have used it in BMW and Mercedes rentals in the past and it was really excellent. Thank you, Conor

Hey Cri5B, Congrats on your new car, I hope you are enjoying it! Funny you should mention the speed sign recognition. While I was out on my test drive, I was keeping up with traffic about 80kmh on a road I have driven often. The car picked up a 60kmh sign, the car was in adaptive cruise, this surprised me and the car began to slow down. I asked the sales man if the road was 60 and he was smiling and said that it is, the speed limit had been changed recently. The rest of traffic was pulling away not knowing or caring. He said it was a new favourite spot for the traffic police to raise money lol I thought the feature was a nice one to have, but I can see how it would become annoying if I was picking up spurious signals. Ya I was tempted too, he shown me on in another model. It was nice and a big display, but I could live with the 10.5". He is taking delivery of one himself, it is in PDI this week. He didn't go for the option on his either, he said himself it was very nice but too expensive. Thanks, Conor

Thanks Arturp, I had a look at both and while the 13" is really nice and doesn't obstruct the view as you say. It is €1,400 and I think the 10.5" looks fine to me, those couple of inches are very expensive

Hey Folks, I am in the process of buying a new Octavia Sportline, 2.0TDi DSG. I am coming from a Mk3 TDI VRS and love that car. While thinking about options the two things that are must have for me are Winter Driving Pack Adaptive Cruise 5 Year Warranty I have these and use them all of the time, the heated windscreen in particular is brilliant in my opinion. Three options I don't have and don't think that I would use are 13" Infotainment, the 10" screen in the car I test drove was fine and I would use Android auto anyway. Side assist, I never had it only on rental cars and I use my mirrors and check my blind spots. DCC, I thought the chassis was fine on the test drive and I don't have it on my current car. Don't think I would miss it. Electric seats. Too expensive and I am the only driver, so don't see a benefit here tbh. My question for you folks is this, am I missing anything here, are any of the options in the not getting list must haves for you. The Sportline is really well specced as is so only really those 3 am I thinking of asking for. I am hoping to get some of your experience and input here as it is a big decision for me and I don't want to miss out on something that I would regret. Thanks in advance for your help, Conor
