Rejecting My IV
I'm sorry all, I just could not stay away, and had to respond to this. I've got a Skoda Superb Estate TDI 150 MK4, which is the new one, and it had problems from day one, all of which are highlighted on here by searching posts made by me. I've spent over 12 hours on the phone being messed about by Skoda/Skoda Executive office/AA/Enterprise, in the process of getting the car returned to the dealer, and AA failing to pick it up when and as promised, and the F*ckwits at Enterprise who think a small 3 door car is completely suitable for an electric wheelchair.... plus lots more... I too have rejected it after buying it from Specialist cars in Dundee (Skoda) and the reason I chose a dealership over 400 ish miles away from me was because of the deal they did for me absolutely knocking spots off any other dealer in the UK. MY car has NO infotainment screen and NO maps. to elaborate I mean the central drivers display, there are maps available via Android Auto on the main infotainment 13" screen, but nothing else. I get the green circle of death rotating until it eventually disappears up it's own backside or the car is eventually reclaimed by Skoda to do what they will with faulty Skodas...I was told that the car can not be fixed as the software to fix it has not been written yet, and will most likely not be written for at least 5 or 6 months, if at all....... I will be moving soon and my new house has a huge garage and an 11Kw wall box already installed, so Skoda executive office have got involved and are swapping it for me, for a Kodiaq PHEV Sportline with parking and winter packages on it, but I am still paying more than I was for the NotSuperb. I am a bit surprised that on the Sportline you dont get an electric passenger front seat nor the massage option that is on the NotSuperb.... Just asking here for anyone who has the Kodiaq PHEV, who might let me know if there is anything that's not right with them, BEFORE I sign on the dotted line, which I have not yet done. Thanks all. Mark.

Variable boot floor
This is an interesting topic for me. I have a Superb Mk4 Estate, and I too want the variable boot floor, as I have to carry a wheelchair in the car, I already have the ramps but getting the chair in with the existing boot floor is a bloody nightmare. I would appreciate any help with this AT ALL. I dont have the manual dexterity required to do this all, nor do I have the tools or the confidence. I was told that Skoda UK will be fitting this for me, but now they are backpedalling and saying they never promised it, but luckily I record my calls. They used my own vin number against me, by stating that this vin number does not have a variable boot floor so they dont know if it will fit, but Its in the extras catalogue for my particular model which is an SEL. Here in the UK I would be very grateful if it turns out the parts listed above will fit a 2024 model I would love to know what each item costs. As far as I am aware 2024 and 2023 share exactly the same boot dimensions, unless someone knows different, but it must be workable somehow, even if I end up doing a bodge job with 4 blocks of wood, one at each corner..... Looking forward to some replies, as shifting this damn wheelchair at the moment is not doing me any favours.

The car was bought from Dundee because they had the only superb in the uk with winter pack and also parking package. I live in surrey and got a train up to collect my car... skoda uk was the ones who insisted it went back where it came from... I don't know why but I just did as I was told but Skoda Uk have paid for the AA to collect and return the car which I'm still waiting for....I Did try every single skoda dealer within 60 or so miles and the soonest anyone could look at it was January 23rd 2025. The issues with the door not closing properly are fixed as is the stroppy start stop that didn't work correctly. The major bugbear is that I still have no maps in the car because the software required to make it work "hasn't even been written yet" according to Luke Evans at Skoda uk. Not so Superb after all.

Hello all. I'm going to try and summarise because it's easier to read. I'm going to try and remain calm, but it might not work because I'm furious.. I'm also dyslexic, so no comments about the spelling dictation and also grammar please. What I bought: Skoda Superb SE-L 2.0 Diesel. (Estate) Where from: Specialist cars Skoda Dundee. When: About 2 weeks ago. What's the problem: at 5 days old the car suffers from the following. Drivers door wont shut properly, as OSR door rubber is detached and is stopping drivers door from closing. No amount of twisting and shoving and manipulating will solve the problem. Infotainment system will not display maps behind drivers display, instead being replaced by a spinning green circle. This will not go away no matter what i do, apart from shutting the ignition off which might be unhelpful on the motorway..... Stop start wont start stopping even with no aircon on and nothing else running in the car. After lots of delays and Skoda telling me the car had to go back to the supplying dealer in Dundee, I finally managed after no more than ten or 15 calls to various people to get AA to recover the car to Dundee. This took about 4 days as I'm 400 plus miles away in Camberley Surrey. I was not travelling with the car so the AA took it upon itself to take its own sweet time as i said just now. About 3 days later, I had a phone call saying they had done what they could, and they had fixed the door seal and the stop start, but will not be able to fix the infotainment system problem as it requires a software update which can only be done in a Skoda dealers premises, and anyway its not available yet. My partner is disabled and something called MOBEX got involved which is supposed to be Skoda's attempt to keep people mobile by offering them a "Suitable comparable car to the one you are driving"... So for someone who has to cart a wheelchair about, please tell me what sort of an idiot would think a Nissan Qashqai would be suitable for a very heavy electric wheelchair. I protested and told them my predicament and they (Enterprise) promised they would get back to me, which they haven't. I've badgered them and asked for help from Skoda Assist as well as the VW Mobex team, but all to no avail, so far. The final kick in the teeth is they have agreed they will return my car via AA with it being picked up tomorrow. I am told the AA will take 7 days to get it back to me in small steps, so that their drivers don't run out of hours, and that a replacement hire car will be with me when they (Enterprise) are ready and not before. Also a small issue with a variable boot floor which should be in the car but is missing, but Skoda UK have said they will retrofit, but I suspect what will actually happen is they will look at the cost and run a mile!!!! A variable boot floor is a vital feature for someone transporting an electric wheelchair around, so I wait to see what they will actually do, as opposed to what the said they will do. Normally I'm a very happy go lucky person who doesn't let much get him down, but this experience with my Superb has made me angry , resentful, and wanting to go to Skoda HQ at Milton Keynes and seriously punch someone. My case handler has decided he was not going to email me or communicate with me in any way that could be construed as helpful, and I have only managed to sort this by finding the email address for the CEO of Skoda, Matthew Bowden, I think.... If anyone happens to be interested I will post an update when I have one, IF I get one. I would be interested if anyone has any useful comments that I would benefit from regarding the infotainment and the boot floor as they are both quite important to me. Cheers all for reading this far... Mark.
