Hi everyone, I have 150PS S3 Estate 2017 no adblue, with engine code CRLB, and after longer run on highway is oil temperature at 108Celsius ( speed is only about 120km/h). Problem is that the temperature going above 108 and its no problem to get 115C . Car is unloaded. Drive is comfy. None of sport drive or something like that. Once , I was going above 130km/h on highway for a few minutes, and it goes higher that 115, and then engine show me, check the oil level. My mechanic told me that temperature under 120C is okay. But I dont think so. When oil has 110 about 120km/h, what happens when I wan to go 180 . That car is builded for long and I hope fast drive on highway, i dont believe that this is normal. Car has a active front flaps, and oil pan has a textile cover. And water temperature is on 90-92 ( checked via OBDEleven on highway) I have O3 150PS ( 2019) too, and I can go for hours on 160km/h anf temperature dont go above 100-105. ( But that is not CRLB, and its engine with adblue). What temperature do you have on yours CRLB engines on highways, I dont know if I need to finding problem or its ,,normal". Thanks for you time. And sorry if the same topic is somewhere but i dont find it in search.
