Hi Guys...i had my Elroq test drive today ..i have posted a long review of it on my reddit group....i am newish to reddit so took me a while to sort it but for some reason i had to have another post just for the images. Spoiler alert : I loved it! Test drive : Photos :

I went for the moon white as loved the contrast with black bits etc. Second choice would have been the race blue. My last 2 cars have been silver and grey so wanted something fresh.

In that case..i will take a shedload of pics just to be safe

Test drive tomorrow! Will try and take some photos if i can mind.

That's a shame but never mind ..on the plus side there is a 12v socket in boot for any rear cam if people decide not to go hard wired.

Just noticed a facebook post from my local Skoda dealer advising of Elroq test drives between 28th February and 5th March Happy days...will arrange date and time tomorrow.

A google search shows 1 or 2 Skoda dealers inviting people to enrol for a test drive on certain dates beginning last week of February..Not heard anything from my dealer yet and nothing on my dealers website regarding test drives for the Elroq.

There is still a chance though you will make it in time..i think a lot depends how smoothly things go at the port...fingers crossed.

I had an email reply from Skoda parts where the chap seemed to think the Elroq still came with the connector for dashcam in the rearview housing so i guess within a few seconds of sitting in the dealer demo i will know for sure.

That is a shame if that turns out to be the case...will find out soon enough..One thing i did see in a YT review was a washer for the rearview camera although no other review mentioned that which i found strange...very welcome feature if indeed the Elroq has it.

The 85 edition comes with car mats..that much i do know. Hopefully they are decent.

So your local Skoda dealer is offering the dashcam installation? Does seem a little expensive but at least it will have a proper warranty and not hinder your Elroq warranty.

I drive a MG3 Hybrid for now and a little spoiled as has a USB port at side of rearview mirror mount for dashcams. Shame more manufacturers do not have something similar..makes it much easier for self install.

Anyone planning on installing dashcams in their Elroq? Surprised no option at dealers / factory for this..a little disappointing.

Be interested to know how long it takes from build date to dealers arrival. You might get yours before they even get the demo model...we shall see.

No..i emailed the dealer and sales guy rang me back as it was almost 2 months since ordering (first time asking for update) ..i also asked to be notified when the demo Elroq arrives so i can get a test drive

Excellent news! I have just had a build date this afternoon of 16th February for my moon white 85 edition Elroq .. seems quite specific? Not complaining...should arrive at dealers sometime in March which is happy days!

I went for the same ..standard loft. I thought it might help speed up my order but just looked like it was more than good enough for me.

Indeed but i asked for clarification but no reply if the 11 weeks is from this week or my original order date.

If anyone else in UK is waiting on a Moon White Edition 85 Elroq i received this response from Skoda a few days ago "There is an 11 week lead time for all New Elroq 85 Edition vehicles that are to be offered currently, with 937 units of the moon white colour which will be distributed in different Retailers accross the UK"

Yes it is a little strange..hopefully just temporary as the Elroq factory is pumping out up to 600 every day now.

Guys i created a subreddit on reddit for the Elroq located at r/SkodaElroq I do not have much experience on reddit but thought i would give it a go. I would appreciate you checking it out. Very quiet at moment as just started it up.
