  1. It's 1.4 MPI, the battery light comes on contact and turns off when the engine starts.
  2. I put in fluid, the flickering persist. I'll be cleaning the sensors tomorrow. The problem is that a new pump is about 350€ and that's pretty much half the price of the car 😅. I just passed MOT so I'll be driving for at least a year more. Could it cause any other problems? Thanks
  3. I'm not really knowledgeable but I suspect the issue is something with the power steering. When the wheel is turned full left or full right the flickering stop presumably because the pump stops working on full turns. Thanks Sorry I misunderstood, I suppose it's leaking there yes but is the pump gone in your opinion?
  4. So I put in a new alternator but the issue was something with power assisted steering. When I pull out the no.7 fuse the issue stops but obviously there's no power steering. When I checked the oil level it was literally empty 😕 I'll be trying to clean out the sensors tomorrow but could the pump just be gone? Thanks
  5. So as the title says on 2 different occasions the car randomly shut off while driving at around 2.5k rpm. The revs just went down and the engine turned off but I was able to start it again. Could it be due to a bad alternator? The alternators output voltage drops as low as 13.2V and goes up to 14.2V but its not stable. Could that also be the cause to flickering lights? Thanks
