  1. Ultimately, replacing the airbag ECU worked for me as well. Though only the dealership can recode the used airbag, normal electricians don't have this authority.
  2. The car had some fire incident inside the vehicle due to which complete interior was redone, may be that's the cause of this issue as well. 20+ fault codes, all related to airbags (all of them). Yes, it did give all those details, some passive and some active. Now, I have got it diagnosed by an experienced engineer and he said that control unit needs to be replaced and recoded. All I want to know now is, how can I find the right Airbag control unit according to the OEM?
  3. Yellow connectors under the front seats are fine. Got them checked. Yes, I have kids but they are really small, their legs don't touch the car floor. I have got it checked and the electrician wasn't able to rectify the fault. All he mentioned was, the airbag wires inside the dashboard might need to be replaced along with the airbag ECU and since its a costly repair, I want to be absolute sure about it.
  4. Hello all, I have Skoda Octavia 2013 1.4 TSI which is driven 106k km. I'm facing Airbag error in the car. Tried it multiple times with the scanner but unable to erase the errors (20+ airbag related errors). What could be the possible cause of it? Will replacing the Airbag ECU with a working used one fix this issue? Anyone having any experience in this regard? Regards.
